Flu Vaccinations
Flu vaccine will be offered to all primary care and gynecology patients during their visit, if clinically appropriate.
The pharmacy offers flu vaccines by appointment Monday, Wednesday through Friday 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 pm and Tuesdays 9:30 am -11:30 am and 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm.
How to schedule an appointment
You can make an appointment to get your flu vaccine online via the HealthyPackPortal or by calling 919.515.2563.
Before coming to your appointment
You will need to upload a copy of your insurance card to the HealthyPack Portal using the “Insurance tab” at the top of your HealthyPack Portal prior to your flu shot appointment. If you have not done so before your appointment, you will be asked to do it at or after your appointment. You will check-in for your flu shot appointment before entering student health using the same process as a provider visit.
Student Health Services accepts the following insurance plans: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, Student Blue, Tricare, and United Healthcare. Students with other insurance plans will have $25.00 charged to their university student account.
*If you have been displaying symptoms or not feeling well leading up to or on the day of your appointment or have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past two weeks, we ask that you reschedule your flu shot appointment for a later date.

There is no appointment necessary to get a flu vaccine at a walk-in flu clinic location.

If you cannot attend on another date, you can make an appointment to get your flu vaccine online via the HealthyPackPortal or by calling 919.515.2563.
