Questions About an Existing Appointment

Secure messages are more secure than email so your confidentiality is always protected.

A secure message can be sent after your appointment if you need to contact your provider. Only initiate messages to providers you have recently seen or received treatment from. Secure messages are not monitored by the Campus Health staff overnight, on the weekend or on holidays.

This messaging service should not be used as a way to ask for general medical advice or advice about new problems. To schedule an appointment, call 919-515-2563.

Do not use this messaging service to cancel or reschedule appointments. Should you need to change or cancel your appointment, call 919-515-2563.

Do not send a secure message if you are having a life-threatening emergency. Call 911, use a blue light emergency phone, or go to the nearest emergency room.

What to do if Campus Health is closed

For Life-Threatening Emergencies 

• Call 911: For any emergency that requires immediate medical attention.
• Use a Blue Light Emergency Phone: These phones are located around campus and connect you to campus security.

For Non-Life-Threatening Emergencies 

• Call the Nurse Advice Line: While Campus Health is closed, you can call 919-515-2563 to speak with a nurse who can provide guidance.
• Visit a Local Urgent Care or Doctors Office: For medical needs that aren’t an emergency, you can go to a nearby urgent care or physicians office.
