Radiology (X-Ray)

X-ray Services Provided

Campus Health offers convenient X-­ray services to all eligible students. You must have an order from a NC State healthcare provider to have X-­rays taken.

Getting Your Results

Campus Health sends X-­rays to an outside radiology consultant for reading. The provider who ordered your X-­ray will receive the reading. You can obtain your results from the provider who ordered the X-­ray.

Costs

Costs vary and include the radiologist’s reading fee. Check with your health insurance company to find out what your health insurance policy covers. Charges will appear on your student account. Depending upon your policy you may be able to receive reimbursement for some or all of these costs.
