Bio

Lindsey Harrigan, a Registered Dietitian, is originally from Wisconsin.  After completing her Bachelors of Science in Dietetics at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, she moved to Chicago where she completed her dietetics internship and Masters of Science in Dietetics at Loyola University Chicago. She spent the next 13 years providing nutrition therapy at the Loyola University Chicago’s Student Wellness Center and served as the sports dietitian for their NCAA Division I student-athletes.  In the summer of 2019, Lindsey and her family relocated to North Carolina. She then spent two years in Campus Health at UNC-Chapel Hill before joining NC State in January 2022.  She is both grateful and excited for the opportunity to be part of the Wolfpack!
Lindsey is passionate about college health and loves the vibrant and diverse setting a university offers. She aligns with a HAES and non-diet approach to nutrition and creates a space free of judgment or shame.  Her special interests include disordered eating/eating disorders, sports nutrition, and general nutrition education.
Lindsey and her husband live in Durham with their two young sons. In her free time, she enjoys staying active with her family and seeking out new places to explore and hike in the area. Additionally, she enjoys spinning, running, and HIIT workouts….and will never turn down a delicious bowl of ice cream!
