Jan Marie DeAngelis RN

Bio

Jan Marie began working at an early age with the public. Her father started an Italian Restaurant here in Raleigh, NC. From the age of 8, she was hanging out with the staff at Amedeo’s- helping to roll silverware, bus tables and anything else they had the patient to let her do! She would also greet patrons (shy at the start, then becoming more comfortable). Long story short, this went on for most of her life…

The restaurant was her mainstay. When it was sold in 2009, she had to find something else to do. She cared for many family members who were not well and then decided to go to nursing school. Being a nurse has been her career now for 7 years. She enjoys helping people and making them “feel better”.

Her hobbies are travel, gardening, cooking, music and hunting for treasures at thrift and antique shops! She enjoys attending athletic events at NCSU!
