Alyson Covington BSN, RN, CPHQ, CPPS

Alyson Covington joined the Wolfpack at Campus Health in October of 2009 as a second shift nursing staff team member.  She has participated in AAAHC accreditation preparation since 2011 and has been the Safety, Health Quality and Accreditation Coordinator since 2018.  Alyson earned her BSN from the University North Carolina Greensboro in 2003.  She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society in  spring of 2003.  Alyson has passed national requirements and is currently  certified in Professional Health Quality (CPHQ) and Certified in Professional Patient Safety (CPPS).  She serves on the board for the North Carolina Association for  Health Quality (NCAHQ) as the education committee chair-elect.  Alyson is passionate about health quality and safety for the patients coming to Campus Health.

Alyson and her husband live in Chatham county with their avian family.  Both are actively involved in the art/craft community and enjoy outdoor activities.
