NP Guarinello has been providing care at NCSU Campus Health since July 2018. She started her health care career in EMS in Northern NJ. She attended NYU for politics but realized by her senior year that she wished to remain in health care. After obtaining her ABSN and RN licensure she completed a RN residency in the emergency department at UNC at Chapel Hill where she continued working for a few years. She then decided to obtain her MSN at UNC at Chapel Hill to become a family nurse practitioner. She graduated and became certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She worked in the urgent care setting prior to joining us here at NCSU. Stefanie loves working with the college-aged population and being in the university setting.

Outside of work Stefanie enjoys weightlifting, kayaking, backyard gardening, the outdoors, photography, animals, live theater, museums, and coffee culture. She is the youngest of three girls. She lives with her husband, children, and rescue dogs.
