Family Nurse Practitioner

Bio

Stefanie started her health care in EMS at the end of high school in Northern NJ. She attended NYU for politics but realized by her senior year that she wished to remain in health care and further her knowledge base. After completing her undergraduate degree she took prerequisite courses to attend nursing school while continuing to work emergency services full-time. She relocated to North Carolina to attend UNC at Chapel Hill. After obtaining her ABSN she worked in the emergency department as an RN in Chapel Hill. She then decided to pursue her MSN to become a family nurse practitioner. She worked in the urgent care setting prior to joining us here at NC State Campus Health. Stefanie loves the college-aged population and is excited to be back in the university setting.

Outside of work, Stefanie is passionate about fitness in all forms but especially weightlifting and CrossFit. She loves the outdoors, photography, traveling near and far, theater, coffee culture, and fashion. She is the youngest of three girls and is very close with her family. She loves spending time with her significant other and friends. She also has two very cuddly chihuahuas!
