Heartsaver® CPR AED
Student Health Services provides Heartsaver® CPR/AED training for NC State students, faculty and staff.
What is Heartsaver® CPR AED training?
The Heartsaver® CPR AED – Adult, Child, Infant course offers education for those who need certification documenting completed training in CPR and AED for job or other requirements. This is a basic rescue course, and is not recommended if you are in or plan to be in the medical or dental field. Upon completion of this course, students receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver® CPR AED Course Completion Card, which will be delivered by mail and may take up to two weeks. The completion card is is valid for two years.

- Adult/Child CPR with mask
- Adult/Child Choking Management
- Adult/Child AED Training
- Infant CPR with mask
- Infant Choking Management
What does the training cost?
Heartsaver® CPR AED Class – $60.00
Heartsaver® CPR AED Student Workbook – $15.00 (required)
Where is the training held?
All training classes are held in the Student Health Center on the 2nd floor in room 2301.
How do I register?
For registration and class date information please click here.
All classes will be held at 8 participants on a first come first serve basis. Classes not full 1 week prior to class date may be subject to cancellation and those registered will be notified, refunded and will need to reschedule. Once registered, participants will receive a confirmation email with instructions on where to pick up the class book. No refunds will be given for classes or books.
