Dermatology is the branch of medicine concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions and disorders.
Student Health Services is pleased to offer on-site dermatology specialty appointments twice a month via Midtown Dermatology, an outside specialty provider, during the Fall and Spring semesters. Midtown Dermatology provides superior medical treatment for common and complex skin issues, as well as advice on how to prevent problems and maintain healthy skin. All students who have paid the student health fee are eligible to make appointments for dermatology specialty services.

Referrals and Costs
Students should contact their health insurance provider for coverage and referral requirements prior to scheduling their appointment. If a referral is needed before you can see a specialist, you can make an appointment with a Student Health Services medical provider, who can provide this referral at no cost to you. Because dermatology specialty visits are with an outside provider there are charges for each visit. To assist you, Midtown Dermatology will file your insurance claim with your health insurance company. You as the patient are responsible for any charges incurred during the visit and will be billed directly by Midtown Dermatology. Student Health is not not able to bill these charges to your student account.
