Alison, a Licensed Physical Therapist, joined the NC State Student Health Center team in 2013. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science (2003) and Doctor of Physical Therapy (2006) from East Tennessee State University. In 2011, she completed an orthopaedic residency with Evidence In Motion. Alison has experience working in research, home health, skilled nursing facilities and acute care. Her primary area of interest is orthopaedics. In addition to orthopedic patients, Alison will now also treat women with pelvic floor dysfunction. Some common diagnoses she will treat include: pelvic pain, vaginismus, vulvodynia, and urinary incontinence.
